Tim Saumier is CEO and Founder of TYGES, a nationally recognized executive search firm specializing in the manufacturing and behavioral health sectors. He is responsible for driving the firm’s strategic growth, shaping organizational culture, and ensuring the development and success of both his team and clients.
Since founding TYGES in 2002, Tim has been instrumental in building it into a trusted partner for companies across North America and globally. Guided by a mission “to make good things happen for other people,” he has cultivated a reputation for excellence in executive search by combining industry expertise with a relentless focus on relationships.
Tim believes that while TYGES is officially in the executive search business, it is truly in the people business. He and his team have developed a unique model that pairs deep subject matter expertise with an intentional, process driven approach, enabling TYGES to consistently deliver top talent while building lasting partnerships. This relationship centered philosophy has resulted in long term client engagements, exceptional placement outcomes, and a team culture anchored in service, trust, and integrity.
In addition to TYGES, Tim is the co-founder of several entrepreneurial ventures, including Certifynd LLC, a SaaS platform transforming the way behavioral health professionals and employers connect. As well as ShockVentures, an early-stage venture fund supporting entrepreneurs. Across each endeavor, his leadership is marked by a commitment to innovation, disciplined execution, and creating opportunities for others to thrive.
Tim is an active board member and community leader, serving on the College of Charleston Foundation Board and contributing to multiple local initiatives within the Williamsburg, Virginia community. He also mentors emerging leaders and entrepreneurs, sharing lessons from more than two decades of building and scaling businesses.
Outside of work, Tim values time with family, enjoys traveling, and has a passion for helping everyone he meets. He and his wife reside in Williamsburg and are proud parents of two young adults.
