When it comes to starting a job search or even just considering a change, it’s important to know yourself and your priorities. If you’ve ever talked to a recruiter at TYGES, chances are that we’ve shared our acronym CLAMPS with you! CLAMPS is a way for us to help identify what’s most important to you when it comes to looking for new opportunities – that way we can find the roles that best align with what you’re looking for! The six categories that make up CLAMPS are:

Money
People
Security
Now, I know most of the candidates I talk to always say, “Becca, those are all important!” And that’s okay if they are. We know that these six things make up a well-balanced job. The reason we still ask this is that at least one or two things always ends up being at the forefront of a candidate’s mind. Another thing I usually get from a lot of the candidates I talk to is, “I’ve never thought about that before.” And, again, that’s okay!
