Maria Cleator started her career with TYGES in 2003 as an Executive Recruiter before quickly moving into the role as Account Executive.  As the firm grew, she was promoted to serve as the Vice President of Finance & Administration. With more than two decades of leadership at TYGES, Maria oversees the financial, operational, and administrative functions that drive the firm’s stability and growth. Her expertise in finance and organizational management ensures that TYGES remains positioned for long-term success.

In addition to leading Finance & Administration, Maria’s responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic financial oversight, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and long-term fiscal health.
  • Managing internal operations to create efficiency and support the productivity of the recruiting teams.
  • Overseeing administrative functions that enable TYGES to deliver high-quality service to clients and candidates.

Maria finds great satisfaction in supporting both the internal TYGES team and the clients they serve ensuring the company’s foundation remains strong so the recruiters can focus on building lasting connections in the markets they serve.

Her professional journey prior to TYGES includes roles at John Deere, E-Z-GO Textron, and Westinghouse Electric. This diverse background in supply chain and procurement sharpened her analytical, operational, and leadership skills, which she continues to leverage in her financial and administrative leadership today.

Maria holds an MBA from William & Mary and a B.S. in Engineering & Management from Clarkson University.
